Vacation Myrtle Beach Resorts Are Autism Ready

Myrtle Beach, SC, May 11, 2023:  We are thrilled to announce Vacation Myrtle Beach Resorts are now supporting people living with autism and has joined the Autism Travel Club with Champion Autism Network and are Autism Ready.

As an Autism Ready business, the business has enrolled in autism training and provides accommodations to people and families with autism.

“I am proud that Vacation Myrtle Beach has partnered with Champion Autism Network since the early years of the organization.  Our staff has trained to be Autism Ready so that we can be more inclusive at our resorts to allow all families to make memories together.  Our resort group features 14 oceanfront properties (10 of which are Autism Ready) and can offer a wide range of experiences that suit the needs of our guests, who might previously not been able to feel comfortable in a typical resort environment.  By allowing our staff to learn more about the needs of those with autism, we are fully prepared to allow our guests to have a safe, fun-filled Myrtle Beach vacation!” states Matt Klugman, Chief Operating Officer of Vacation Myrtle Beach.

Becky Large, Champion Autism Network Executive Director, says about the participation of Vacation Myrtle Beach, “having places for our people living with autism to go to without judgement, anxiety or worry is the CAN vision and mission.  We are so grateful to Vacation Myrtle Beach for their support and inclusion.”
