Becky Large, Champion Autism Network Executive Director, says about the participation of Soul Space Massage and Spa, “we are so grateful for the continued commitment by the business community in supporting people living with autism.  It helps us to continue our vision to create a world where all people living with autism CAN live, work, and play without judgment, guilt, or worry.”

About Soul Space Massage and Spa:  Owner, TJ Weeden, “When I was asked to be a part of the CAN Network, I didn’t hesitate to answer with a soul YES. The training provided by CAN helped me dive deeper and research more on autism and the value of massage for autism and their caregivers. I provide much needed muscle manipulation, rest and healing to my clients in my studio space or in their homes using a specialized massage table or chair.” TJ can be reached at 843-333-1365.

About Autism:  Autism is a general term used to describe a group of complex developmental brain disorders – autism spectrum disorders. These disorders are characterized, in varying degrees, by communication difficulties, social and behavioral challenges, and repetitive behaviors making unfamiliar environments triggers for tantrums and meltdowns. An estimated 1 in 44 children in the U.S. is on the Autism Spectrum and that number is increasing.

About Champion Autism Network:  Champion Autism Network’s mission is to educate and empower communities, businesses, and organizations to create supportive and judgment-free experiences that enhance the quality of life for people living with autism.
